FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOURS AND SHOWTIMES
• The Jazz Kitchen opens Monday through Saturday at 5p for dinner.
• The showtimes vary by night so please check the calendar for the night you plan on attending.
• Most shows last between 75 and 90 minutes.
• The kitchen is open until 1 hour before the band stops. Most times this is 11p on weekends.

AGE REQUIREMENTS
The Jazz Kitchen is open to those 21+

MINIMUMS
Friday and Saturday nights there is a $15 per person minimum food & beverage charge for the main dining room.

RESERVATIONS VS TICKETS
This is a bit complicated. Here is the simple version.

• If a show is $15 or less we require only a dinner reservation and you will pay for
the cover charge at the door. You can make dinner reservations online by clicking
the reservations tab or call us at 317.253.4900.

• If a show is $16 or more we require that you purchase tickets.
We do recommend that you do this in advance as most national shows do sell out.
Online tickets can be made at anytime until 2 hours before showtime.
You may also call us at 317.253.4900 for charge-by-phone orders.
There is a $3 per ticket surcharge for online and charge-by-phone orders.

• You will be automatically make a dinner reservation when you purchase tickets online or by phone.
Please arrive no later than 1/2 hour before showtime. After that we cannot guarantee seating.

• All seating is general admission.
Please arrive as early as possible to have more choices in seating.

As is customary in jazz clubs all over the world we do not guarantee your party will have a table exclusively for your party.
This is especially common for parties of 2 which are frequently paired with another party of two to complete a 4 person table.

CREDIT CARDS AND PAYMENT
The Jazz Kitchen accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and cash.
We ask that you please charge no less that $10 when using a credit card.

GIFT CERTIFICATES
We sell gift certificates in any amount up to $100 per certificate.
To purchase online follow the ticket purchase link and scroll to the bottom.
Certificates purchased online will be sent to the purchaser.

SMOKING POLICY
The Jazz Kitchen is a non-smoking venue.

TALKING POLICY
Jazz being very dynamic often changes in volume very rapidly.
We ask that you keep your talking to a minimum and keep in mind
that others around you are here to listen to the music.
Also it is disrespectful to the artists to interfere with their performance.
If you must talk please do so in the lounge.

AUDIO AND VIDEO TAPING, PHOTOGRAPHY
The Jazz Kitchen due to contractual obligations does NOT allow taping or photography in any manner.
In the event that taping is allowed by the performer we ask that your set-up be contained to a minimal
amount of space and does not impede our staff or patrons in any way.
We reserve the right to refuse taping at any time. NO BOARD TAPING.
