The Serenade Jazz Orchestra is a 16-member jazz band. Big Band roots come from the 1930’s – 1950. We embrace those musical roots but thrive on newer styles and arrangements of; Basie, Ellington, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Brian Setzer and Gordon Goodwin. Our tunes encompass a variety of styles including swing, rock, Latin, and blues. The band’s members are local professional musicians, businessmen, teachers, and even a doctor! Formed in 1995, The Serenade Jazz Orchestra plays at The Jazz Kitchen and at private parties in Indianapolis, Indiana. The band is led by saxophonist Greg Johnson and managed by Rick Oldham, the owner of Musicians' Repair and Sales.

The Castlewood Singers, drawing most of its members from Marion County was formed in 1984. They are a mixed-voice ensemble with a repertoire of secular as well as sacred vocal music. They fashion their programs to suit a venue or sponsoring organization. Castlewood Singers' music incorporates a wide variety of choral styles, including classical, contemporary, sacred, spirituals and Broadway tunes, all sung in four, six, or eight part harmonies.
