After winning numerous local and nationally televised Vocal competitions including the late Natalie Cole's 'Big Break', Stephanie attended Kentucky State University where she studied vocal choral music as well as solo performance. It was there that she fell in love with a wide variety of music including Jazz. Stephanie's recording break came when she joined a New York based House/Dance Music group. As a member of 'Black Magic', Stephanie was signed to House Music's top Record Label, 'Strictly Rhythm Records'. Hit Singles such as "Let It Go" became famous throughout Europe and are still considered House Music Classics to this day! Stephanie has an extensive background in Musical Theater and has traveled the US and Europe as a vocalist, actress and co-producer of an Indianapolis based theater company for over 20 years. Continuing her love for theater, Stephanie recently gave an emotional performance as 'Tatiana' in the production of "Issues of Life" a Midwest based production. Stephanie was the featured vocalist in the Indianapolis Jazz production "Jazz in the Language of 'L' ". Recently, Stephanie has taken on the responsibility of grooming young talent to perform with thought, emotion and excellence through her role as a performance coach. As a songwriter, Stephanie has written and performed theme songs for National Women's Conferences and has been coached by award winning songwriters. Currently, Stephanie's energetic performances can be witnessed as she provides support vocals for R&B/Soul/Jazz Artists Bashiri Asad & Joon Walker and Stephanie has been a featured vocalist with the Cover Bands 'Power Play' and 'Echelon'. Stephanie's live stage performances are packed full of emotion, excitement and good 'ole fashioned fun!
