Clint Breeze is the artistic persona of Indianapolis-based drummer and Hip Hop producer, Carrington Clinton. The Groove is a The-Roots style hip hop band with an all-star lineup of Indy-based musicians featuring Jared Thompson (tenor saxophone), Nick Tucker (bass), Joel Tucker (guitar), Christopher Pitts (keyboards), Zachary Finnegan (trumpet), frontman Pernell from Pike (emcee, vocalist) and led by drummer and beatmaker Clint Breeze.
Clint Breeze and The Groove has shared the stage with Trombone Shorty and Durand Jones and The Indications, The Commonheart and headlined several festivals in Indianapolis including Chreece and Indy Jazz Fest. Clint Breeze and The Groove released their debut studio album, ARRIVAL, in April 2019.
In 2016, Clint Breeze released ‘Nappy Head’, an album that highlights the socio-political climate of Black America featuring the artistic signatures of over two dozen rappers, musicians, singers and poets collaborating with artists Oreo Jones, Drayco, Flaco and Sirius Blvck to name a few. Nappy Head generated a buzz around the city of Indianapolis and established itself as local ‘classic’. It also received critical acclaim from music writer Kyle Long who covers the band regularly for both Indianapolis’ NPR affiliate (WFYI) and Indy’s alternative newsweekly (NUVO).
WHAT ARE WE DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE
The Jazz Kitchen main dining room will be limited to maximum capacity of 70 guests.
We have installed touch-less faucets, towel dispensers, soap & hand sanitizing stations in our restrooms.
We have installed additional sanitizing stations throughout the restaurant.
Staff are subject to thermometer checks prior to every shift.
All staff are required to wear masks throughout their shift.
Reduced and flexible floor plan will be updated to allow social distancing.
Disinfecting of all surfaces before and after every show.
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE
•• A new order, effective on Friday August 14th, further defines the face covering requirement to a full mandate at all times while inside of our venue. The only time in which you are able to remove your face covering is when you are sitting at a table, seated in your chairs or momentarily while eating or drinking.

When you get up to move around the venue, you must have your face covering on at all times.
